Since October 2017, the Steigerwald-Landschulheim has been part of the Germany-wide Network School without Racism – School with Courage. The aim is to take a firm stand against any kind of discrimination at school and to promote courage and tolerance in our school life.
As a school with an acknowledged international status, the Steigerwald-Landschulheim hosts students from many different countries such as Egypt, China, and Russia. Moreover, regular school exchange programs with schools in the Czech Republic, France, Israel, the Ukraine and the USA intensify the students’ rewarding experiences of peacefully living together with students from other nationalities and cultural backgrounds. In addition, various annual projects within the school’s social studies and ethics classes are integrated into the curriculum, often in close collaboration with external partners.
