Drug prevention programs for children and teenagers play an important role at the Steigerwald-Landschulheim. It is crucial to teach the teenagers awareness for the dangers of drug consumption and to bolster their own self-protective measures. Informational sessions for students and parents are offered regularly. Moreover, our school takes part in the annual nationwide smoking prevention project, Be Smart – Don’t Start, and works together with external partners such as Caritas (Catholic charity).
