The Steigerwald-Landschulheim has established a school exchange program with Arcata High School, California. It offers groups of students a two-week stay with host families and enables our students to gain some fascinating insights into US schools, culture, and society. An additional stay in San Francisco completes the picture of rural and urban California. Furthermore, the school’s pen pal project with various American high schools makes it possible for students (8th to 12th academic year) not only to use their English skills in real life situations but also to forge friendships with peers in the US.
